YOUTH, YOUNG ADULTS AND FAMILIES are invited to consider joining us on Fri., Feb. 5 to Sat., Feb. 6 for an ALL NIGHT SKI PARTY AT MT. WACHUSETT.  It is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Boston.  This group will be the ONLY ONES AT THE MOUNTAIN.

Those who wish may meet at Church that Friday, around 7:30 p.m. for some time with the Lord and Benediction.  We'll then go the Parish Center for Pizza and PLAN TO LEAVE THE PARISH CENTER AT 9:00 P.M.  The event will start at 11:00 p.m. and finish at 6:00 a.m. on Sat. morning.  All trails will be open.  Areas of the lodge will be available for movies and games and "rest".  Mass will be celebrated at 3:30 a.m. followed by breakfast.  Cost is $65.00 for skiers and $35.00 for non-skiers. HOLY FAMILY WEEKEND AT UNO'S CHICAGO GRILL on County St. will take place NEXT WEEKEND, Jan. 29, 30 & 31st.  Pick up a "ticket" THIS weekend after any Mass and present it to your wait person at Uno's when you pay your bill on any of those 3 days.  Uno's will send 20% of your bill back to our parish to be used by our Youth Ministry.  THANKS for participating in this program with us.

ARE YOU AN ADULT (OVER 17) WHO HAS NOT RECEIVED EITHER BAPTISM, EUCHARIST AND/OR CONFIRMATION?  WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECEIVE THESE SACRAMENTS?  There will be classes for this purpose starting Sat., Feb. 6 and running 5 consecutive Saturdays until March 6 at Holy Family Parish Center from 10 - 11:30 a.m.  If you wish to attend or at least find out more information about these classes, please see Fr. HOLY FAMILY "SUPER BOWL SUNDAY PARTY" will take place at the Parish Center on Sun., Feb. 7.  It will start at 5:00 p.m. and will feature a "pot luck supper". THE HOLY FAMILY VOCATION PRAYER CROSS  is being taken home this week by Maureen Rose and next week by Cassie McGarrigle. Please join them in praying for vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and religious life.

REHEARSAL FOR GRADE 2 STUDENTS & PARENTS in preparation for First Reconciliation will take place THIS SAT., JAN. 23 and NEXT SAT., JAN. 30, immediately following the 4:00 p.m. Mass.  All grade 2 students and at least one of their parents are expected to be present..

ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS are invited to take a box of their own Budget Envelopes home for use in supporting our parish this year.  The amount of money donated is not the important thing.  The concept of supporting our parish is what counts.  This is strictly voluntary.  The small boxes are for the elementary students; the larger ones for our middle & high school students.  They are available at the table near the stairs to the choir loft and at the side entrance of church.

Give him wisdom and strength to serve the American people IN WAYS THAT ARE PLEASING TO YOU.  Bless our Congress.  Instill in them knowledge and understanding to enact laws that protect the sanctity of life - from the unborn to the elderly; and promote the good of all people.  Bless the people of the United States.  Make us aware of our responsibilities as citizens to uphold the principles of life, liberty, justice and equality. Send your Holy Spirit upon our beloved country.  Make us people of faith in time of uncertainty.  Make us people of hope in time of trouble.  Make us people of compassion with those who are less fortunate.  Make us people of peace in our homes, our communities, our country and our world.  AMEN.

As St. Paul taught the Corinthians and us: "You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ; rich as He was, He made Himself poor for your sake, in order to make you rich by His poverty. PLEASE PRAY for a greater respect for all of human life, for peace in the Mideast and elsewhere around the world, for our men and women serving in the military, law enforcement, fire protection and emergency services; for our parishioners who are sick at home, in hospitals or nursing homes, for our architect and friend, Dick Jones, who continues to battle cancer and for the repose of the soul of Joseph Lima, a member of our parish whose funeral Mass was celebrated there this past week.  THANKS.
