ALL SOULS DAY is on Monday, Nov. 2.  If you would like your deceased relatives and/or friends remembered at all Masses during November, please write their name(s) on the envelope you received with your Budget Packet (or one you can find at the entrances of Church) and turn it into us through the collection basket, mail or in person at the Rectory and/or Parish Center.  The envelopes will be on the Altar throughout the month of November.

Our presenter will be Tom Eddlem..  Next Sun., Nov. 8, Dr. Hugh Boyle will present on the topic of the Eucharist and Mass .  ALL ADULTS, and  ESPECIALLY THE PARENTS OF OUR YOUNG PEOPLE are encouraged and welcome to take part.

WOULD YOU HELP OUR BOY SCOUT TROOP?  This weekend, members of our Boy Scout Troop will be selling popcorn outside the entrances of Church after all Masses.  Any help you can give them would be greatly appreciated.  They do a lot to assist us here in the parish.  THANKS.

THE ANNUAL MINISTRY CONVENTION for the Diocese of Fall River will take place on Sat., Nov. 7 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield.  It's an easy drive from here.  This Convention is open to all who are involved in the various ministries of our parish.  Fr. Ken Paulli will give the major address on "Must you wash my feet? - Conversations around the Eucharistic Table".  There are some great workshops planned.  A hot lunch will be served. WE HAVE STARTED HAVING ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT on Wednesday's at the Chapel at our Parish Center, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 Noon.  We still need more people to commit to being there each week for a particular period of time (i.e. 8:30 - 9:00). THIS FRIDAY, NOV. 7 is the FIRST FRIDAY OF NOVEMBER.  We will have EUCHARISTIC ADORATION from after the 8:30 a.m. Mass until Benediction at 8:00 p.m.  Come and spend some time with the Lord in prayer.  It's a great opportunity.

YOUNG MEMBERS OF OUR PARISH (GRADE 7 & ABOVE) are invited to join us this Friday at 5:00 p.m. at the Parish Center for food, music, games & prayer.  Bring a musical instrument and bring your appetite.  We'll walk to Church for Adoration and Benediction and then come back for the Parish Center for more fun.  Bring a friend; share the fun!!

NEXT WEEKEND (Nov. 7/8) is the opportunity to assist our ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY in their work among those in need here in our own parish.  Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item with you to Mass and leaving it in one of the containers at the entrances of Church.  We are in particular need of canned vegetables, stuffing mix, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, soups, pasta sauce, tuna fish and beans.  THANKS.

PLEASE JOIN US this Saturday, Nov. 7, for our ANNUAL MASS OF REMEMBRANCE at 10:00 a.m. at Church.  This Mass is offered in particular for all those whose funerals were celebrated here in our parish from Nov. 1, 2008 - Oct. 31, 2009.  All parishioners, family members and friends are most welcome.  Our committee will serve refreshments in the Parish Center after the Mass.

CHRISTMAS DECORATING COMMITTEE will meet on Tuesday,  Nov. 10, at 7:00 p.m. at the Parish Center.  WE NEED NEW MEMBERS.  Please consider helping us in this effort to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.  We need NEW IDEAS especially for decorating the Parish Center.

WE ARE ALSO IN NEED of NEW PRIZES for our "Roll-Up" table at the Holiday Festival.  Any new item between $1.00 & $3.00 would be wonderful.  They can be left at the Parish Center.

GUILD MEMBERS are reminded that the Christmas Party will be at the Parish Center on Dec. 1 at 6:00 p.m.  Tickets are $21.00 per person and the buffet menu is: Roast Beef au jus, Chicken & Shrimp Vegetable Scampi, Stuffed Shells, Mixed Vegetables, Salad with dressing, rolls, butter, pastries and coffee.  All money is due by Nov. 18.

HOLY FAMILY KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS have their monthly meeting this Wed., Nov. 4, at 7:30 p.m. at the Parish Center.  All Knights are encouraged to be present.

CAN YOU HELP US??  For about $2.25 per week you can become a member of the HOLY FAMILY CENTURY CLUB.  This Club has raised a good amount of money for our parish over the years.  IF ONE MEMBER FROM EACH FAMILY JOINED, it would be a great success.  PLEASE THINK ABOUT IT and fill out an application form you can find at the entrance of Church.  We want to start in November so please get your applications in this week.  Payment envelopes for those who wish to pay over a period of time are available at the front entrance of Church.

OUR ANNUAL PARISH APPEAL IS UNDERWAY: Your generosity to this Appeal, which stays entirely in our parish, will help us continue to have money to undertake projects such as improving the side entrance to the church as well as meeting our ever increasing expenses for the running of our parish and the fulfillment of our mission. HOLY FAMILY PARISH PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY is continuing.  It's a good time to pull out those knitting needles/crochet hooks & yarn.  Our parish has been most successful in reaching out to the homebound, those living in nursing homes and those suffering from any type of illness.  We welcome new participants.  If interested call Peggy O'Neill at 508-880-2571 to sign up to knit/crochet and/or instructions on how to do so, and if you know of anyone who would like a prayer shawl for a family member or friend.
